Researcher since 1987 at the Astronomical Observatory of Trieste, that I directed in 2000-2003. My interests include primordial nucleosynthesis and light elements abundances, extremely metal-poor stars and primeval galaxies, the possible variation of fundamental constants, planetary transits, instrumentation and the history of Astronomy.
